Hey everyone, my name is Jose and I am from Lenoir, North Carolina! I will be interning in Buenos Aires, Argentina from mid August to late October at La Base, a foundation that focuses on giving out loans to cooperatives, boosting inclusivity in the financial world, and exploring the world of self-management in companies as an alternative to the traditional capitalist system. I will also be going to the Kendrick Lamar GNX Tour concert in Buenos Aires!
Then, I will be in Faurroupilha, Brazil to teach English through TalkersFarroupilha from late October to early December. I hope to improve my Portuguese here as well and play street football in the favelas.
I will go to Valencia, Spain to intern for Villareal CF in marketing. I will be assisting in digital campaigns, and expand the club’s digital presence alongside other interns. I hope to attend a Villareal match here, try Paella, and maybe even meet a few players.
Finally I will be heading to Taipei, Taiwan from late March to early May, most likely to teach English, but I am open to any changes during this period. I hope to pick up some Cantonese or Mandarin here.
I can’t wait to travel, make memories, and meet the new friends I make along the way!
