Hello! My name is Jake and I’m spending my gap year in New York City. Over the course of this year, I am interning at a school for students with learning disabilities, where I am gaining hands-on experience in education. I am also pursuing certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), continuing to self-study mathematics, and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This year is an opportunity for me to challenge myself, explore different interests, and build skills that I will carry forward into college and beyond.
