Hello everyone! My name is Charlie, I’m from Denver, Colorado. I started my gap year this past summer, volunteering for a glacier research program in Juneau, Alaska. In the fall I’ll be exploring Nepal with the Where There Be Dragons program. The program is about learning the language and culture with family home stays, trekking through the himalayas and time in a Buddhist monastery. From Nepal, I will travel to New Zealand where I was able to secure a work visa. There I will work and live on my own, and I hope to explore the incredible outdoor spaces that the Islands provide. I am a little nervous but also super excited. I look forward to sharing my adventures with you.
