Hi! My name is Pallavi and I am from Washington, D.C. To start my gap year, I will be participating in a 2 month service, travel, and leadership program in Indonesia and Fiji through ARCC, with no technology for the first month! In the fall, I plan to move to NYC and audition for professional musicals and other singing opportunities. While I am nervous for this part of the year, I am excited to push myself out of my comfort zone! I landed a small show right before I leave for Indonesia, but things are a little unpredictable, so if I were to get cast in something larger down the line, I would pursue that for the rest of the year. If not, I hope to spend my second semester teaching English and earning my TEFL certification with Maximo Abroad in Peru and Costa Rica, while honing in on my Spanish skills. I am so excited to see what this year holds!
