Hi! My name is Malcolm, and I was born and raised in Singapore. I love soccer, music and
hanging out with friends.
I eagerly started my gap year early this summer by backpacking around Europe from June to
July with my mates.
During the first three months of this fall, I’ll be interning in Singapore to gain work experience
and professional insight. During this, I plan to continue honing my music production skills by
producing original tracks and performing as a DJ at various events across the city.
In November, I’ll be joining a NOLS expedition in New Zealand. From late December to early
February, I’ll be traveling around Japan and skiing, gaining a fresh perspective while taking
advantage of their awesome snow. In the final third of the year, I hope to intern, and immerse
myself in either Mandarin or Spanish through a language program, while also training for a
marathon.
I’m excited to grow, challenge myself, and expand my worldview over the coming year!
