Hello everyone! My name is Hannah, and I’ll be spending my gap year in New York City. During
the year, I will continue to study cello, both privately and as part of a string quartet. I also plan to
get a job, and shadow professions in and outside of the city.
In my free time, I would like to volunteer around my neighborhood, and I also hope to learn and
continue hobbies including pottery and sewing.
To end off my year, I’ll participate in a summer intensive language program in Seoul, South
Korea. Since I’m half Korean, I’m hoping this will be a time to learn more about my heritage, as
well as connect with relatives in Seoul. I’m excited to see what this year will bring
