Hey guys! My name is Seine, and I am a ballet dancer from Brunswick, Maine. For the first three months of my gap year, I’ll be in Cape Town, South Africa, interning at a public day hospital. In October, I’ll transition to working at a foster care service before returning to the United States for the holidays.
I hope to continue taking ballet classes wherever I go, including in Copenhagen, Denmark, where I’ll visit my older brother who is studying abroad. This winter, I’ll spend time in Wyoming working toward my Wilderness Emergency Medicine certification through NOLS, along with some phlebotomy training.
Later in the year, I plan to explore Southeast Asia, spending time in Cambodia, before wrapping up my gap year in New Zealand working at a yoga retreat. I am so grateful for this experience and am looking forward to the journey!
