Hi everybody! My name is Lukas, and I am from Asheville, North Carolina. For the first half of my gap year, I plan on living in China while taking Chinese classes and teaching English. I will be living in Shanghai, Chengdu, and Beijing for around a month each, and hope to travel to nearby countries such as Japan and Vietnam. At the start of the New Year, I plan to spend some time in Spain completing an internship and improving my Spanish. After that, I will likely spend 2-3 months each in Africa and Brazil volunteering.
