Hi, I’m Hannah! I’m originally from Busan, South Korea but I’ve lived in Utah for most of my life. My plans for my gap year are to study in Shanghai, China from September to early January, improving my Mandarin Chinese while immersing myself in Chinese culture. Then in late January, I’ll be going to South Korea where I’ll visit my relatives until I start Korean language classes in March.
It’s been a long time goal of mine to become fully fluent in both these languages, not only for career prospects, but for my family and friends, so I’m really excited for this opportunity!
