My name is Bruce, and I am from Dubuque, Iowa. I am going to start out my gap year with a NOLS Mountaineering Expedition in the India Himalayas from September through October. Afterwards, I plan to attend a month-long WEMT course in New Hampshire. I will return home to spend the winter holidays with my family. In the spring, I plan to travel to Nepal to hopefully participate in some trekking and volunteer work.
