Hi!! My name is Jess and I am from Santa Monica, CA. I am passionate about nature, exploration, dogs, music, arts and crafts, meeting new people and DGYP of course. For the next 9 months I’ll be living in Israel! I chose to live in Israel for my gap year in order to explore the rich history of the region, integrate myself into Israeli culture and deepen my understanding of my own heritage. I’ll spend the first 4 months in Jerusalem and last four in Tel Aviv with a month long Tikkun Olam trip to Rwanda in the middle. I am super excited for all the people I will connect with along my journey and the personal growth that is to come from this year.
