Hi Everyone! My name is Sivan and I’m from New York City. I am participating in an eight-month program in Israel named Kivunim with 38 other American high school graduates. The program is based in Jerusalem where we spend 3 days a week taking Hebrew and Arabic language classes, studying Jewish and Israeli history, and learning about the eleven countries that we visit on four trips spread throughout the year. One day is spent volunteering in the community and another day’s focus is to tour the State of Israel. Looking forward to sharing more about my gap year with you!
